The effects look cheap and slapped on.
I like the colors and idea though.
Just try again. I think you haven't done anything in a while.
It just takes some time to get back into it.

while i'm a huge fan of the tag in your sigspace right now, not so much this one; the colours are beautiful but the effects and the render just don't go along with each other. i definitely appreciate what you were going for though!
